Our kennels are built inside the frame of a barn, and we needed to do some urgent repairs to the timber frontage of the external barn, and we are absolutely delighted to announce that we are looking all smart again.
We would like to thank Chandlers Building Supplies who provided the timber we needed at a vastly reduced price, and the work has been paid for by the money we raised at the Amex Football Stadium collection.
So most importantly a massive thankyou to the twenty plus strong team of volunteers and the eleven hounds who stood in the rain at the stadium collecting that horribly wet day – It was a huge team effort.
Also thanks to Chris and Jayne Osman who got the team and the hounds to the stadium on their Routemaster bus.
The repairs had become a major priority, and we are thrilled that we were able to complete this project before the Winter set in and the bad weather arrived.

We are based in the beautiful countryside of Twineham, West Sussex. The new kennels that we occupy were purpose built by us in March 2005. We gained financial backing from the national RGT and Corals Brighton & Hove Greyhound Stadium, both of which we are extremely grateful to, as without them it would never have happened. The kennels can hold 32 dogs for homing, but realistically we have about 29 at any one time. We have two outside fields that the dogs are continually turned out in throughout the course of the day. We also have some reliable and trusted dog walkers who take the dogs out along local bridleways. The dogs are generally housed in pairs for company, if we have enough dogs we will always do this. read more..... |
