feeling braver

This is sweet! :)

Scaredy cat Benjie remained welded to his duvet and was brave enough to stay in the same room last night when 7 folk visited (book group) and actually talked and laughed in his presence! :o (I told them not to look at him <_< )

This afternoon he must have felt flushed with success because he insisted on leaning on 2 folk whose previous acquaintance this past 2 1/2 yrs he will accept, but doesn't actually seek out. I had to drag him away!

What a big brave boy he has become - I am VERY proud indeed :D :D :D

Boycey's dad Chris will smile because he can do anything with him ;)

regards

Kathy

Re: feeling braver

that is brilliant progress! :D

Benjie reverted yesterday and backed off shaking as violently as I have ever seen when a new lady came to the house to cut my hair (she was rather loud :o ) but she was asked to ignore him and hey he crept back into the lounge to observe the proceedings.

I think these shy ones feel understandably threatened by well meaning folk making direct eye contact whilst advancing slowly but purposefully shouting "ISN'T HE LOVELY!!!" - I'd be a bit nervous myself

have a good weekend and thrilled to see on other post that Alan  may get a mention in dispatches :D

regards

kathy :D and benjie boy
