Weetabix

Is Weetabix good for greyhounds, how do you make it up and how much other food do you give for the second meal.

Re: Weetabix

I haven't heard anything about Weetabix.
We feed our 2 twice a day by giving them half a days food each time and share a tin of dog food between them at each meal. One of ours has a very delicate constitution so we can't vary it too much although of course she loves her treats...although not as much as she loves rabbit poo....which then upsets her tummy....

Re: Weetabix

Our two have two weetabix every morning, topped with a banana between two, a spoon or two of natural yoghurt and a teaspoon of honey. They love it....and me :P

Re: Weetabix

what do you moisten your weetabix with? if you make porridge again what liquid do you use : eg milk, water or milk & water mix? how often can you feed this as a breakfast if they have a complete mixture with moist food as an evening meal?

Thanks,

Denise and Lola.

We feed them weetabix etc every day, moisten with a little milk and water. Then in the evening they have gain 20 moistened with water with a treat on top such as chicken, sardines, tuna or any special leftovers we have!

Re: Weetabix

I shouldn't think it will do him any harm. When we bought our dog home she ate everything that wasn't nailed down, including plastic!!! without coming to grief. Much more settled now and a little more discerning about her diet.
Mine love tuna, we put it in their breakfast sometimes, they also love sardines, particularly in tomato sauce.
